In Episode 55, we continue to discuss how best to help our most vulnerable in our lives, our young adults, parents, grandparents and the lonely and alone during the holiday season.
In part I, we concentrated on our children and teens.
Here in part II, we look at the challenges that our young adults encounter, especially those who are now away at college or in another city for a new career.
We also concentrate on the struggles of our parents, grandparents and those in our lives who are alone and lonely.
Holidays can bring about much sadness when there is no one around us and we are grieving a loved one’s death.
Please be kind to others and connect with them either online, by phone or in person at some point so they feel included in your celebrations.
Additional Notes – Some things that will help along this journey to ease the pain:

Trained counselors are there to listen, free of charge, to what’s going on with you. Take advantage of their great kindness. Vent with an objective individual. You don’t have to be ‘suicidal’ to call them, but if you are, that’s the best place to call. Don’t hestitate!
