In Episode 233, I continue my conversation with Angela Marie Parkerson who shares the life and death of her son Nick Rucker who died by fentanyl poisoning at 24.

Nick is survived by his mother Angela Marie, brother Brandon and sisters Courtney and Hannah. He is also loved and missed by his seven nephews and one niece.

Nick was a lover of nature and enjoyed the mountains and hiking.

He was murdered in Kentucky and, unfortunately, it has been an uphill battle to gain justice for him.

A few heartwarming happenings that occurred was Angela Marie and I had scheduled our conversation weeks in advance only to find out that May 3rd (the day we recorded) was Nick’s birthday and I never knew it.

Add to the fact that her fb profile name is Angela Marie, my stepdaughter’s exact name and middle name – Angela Marie Wong.

And during the conversation, Angela tells me that while away on business in Virginia, she spotted a Virginia license plate “MomNick” and how special is that!
