You might have expected that disagreements would have worked themself out.

The Mary Mac Show | Handling Anger

The Mary Mac Show Podcast

In Episode 117, we discuss how we deal with anger and the numerous individuals whom we still feel anger with including the person who died.

Not everyone feels anger toward anyone when they’ve experienced a loved one’s death.

But many do.

They feel anger at the entire situation.

They feel anger at how their life has changed because of the death.

They feel anger at the person who left them.

They feel anger at people who affected the one who died.

They may even have anger at themselves for what they think they did or did not do.

Yet, often, the people you might be feeling anger at don’t even know you harbor this against them.

So the person hurting is you. And only you.

Please listen in to this week’s episode so you can gain more knowledge about this issue.

Bless you my friend.
xoxo

The Mary Mac Show | Handling Stress

The Mary Mac Show Podcast

In Episode 116, we discuss how stress affects us after a loved one’s death and ways we can help ourselves.

Whether our beloved died suddenly or we anticipated their death, we are left with great stress and anxiety in dealing with not only their death and that they will no longer be in our lives, but we must make many decisions about their funeral, burial and maybe even a memorial service.

Later we will need to make decisions about our new life without them.

Will you need to move houses, cities, counties, even countries?

What is your financial situation?

Will you need to move in with other family?

How do you handle their estate?

All of these issues bring stress and anxiety and we must learn how to deal with all these things when they arise.

One of the most effective ways is through the Emotional Freedom Technique which helps you to release much of the overwhelm. You will see the link below.

The Mary Mac Show | Trusting Life’s Timing

The Mary Mac Show Podcast

This week in Episode 115, we speak about trusting life’s timing.

We can never predict when someone we love will pass on.

Even when a doctor gives a prognosis, it’s never right.

Because the only person who knows the exact day and time is God. And a doctor is not God.

We also cannot predict the length of our severe grief after they have died.

Every one of us has no set time frame.

It all has to do with the significance of the relationship we shared with that person. Never the label; always the relationship.

So trust yourself that you know what you need when you’re grieving.

Others may want you to speed up the process, but you must decide that as you move forward.

Listen in for some perspective.
